How long and what should I eat before my excersise dvd workout?

I am going to do the pump it up workout dvd tomorow morning.
I am trying to burn fat/calories.
I would like to know what I should eat before to give me the energy and how long I should eat before.

Don't eat a meal sooner than 2 hours before you plan to exercise. Digestion needs a good blood supply so your body cannot pump enough blood to stop you from tiring quickly or getting indigestion.

To give you a sugar boost to carry you through your program you can eat a banana or 2, or an energy bar.

Do eat a meal after you exercise, whilst you are fresh from your exertions the food will turn to muscle rather than fat but make it a low fat meal with plenty of carbohydrate such as baked potato with grilled fish and veg. The sooner you do this the better, certainly you need to have finished eating within 2 hours
