1PM – IAN JEROME MAIER, Yoga Society of San Francisco
I have had a life long interest in the Eastern healing arts including yoga. The study and practice of this ancient art and science has, through the years, nourished and sustained me physically, mentally and spiritually. Teaching for 12 years has added another dimension to this experience in broadening my communication skills and providing me with the opportunity to share the knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. The privilege of participating in workshops and practicing under the guidance of such masters as Swami Bua, Duncan Wong, Dharma Mittra, David Swenson, Tias Little, Richard Freeman and others has given me greater insight into the subtleties of the art of yoga and helped me in the appreciation of different approaches to teaching.
