Heat Gear
Heat Gear

difference between under armour cold and heat gear?
I know that you wear cold gear when its colds and heat gear when its hot...but what exactly is the difference between the two? Like do they have different fabrics? Like what if I wear my heat gear compression shorts during the winter does that just make me colder? Cuz I have both heat and cold gear stuff but there doesnt seem to be much of a difference besides thickness
Both wick moisture.
The Cold Gear has an extra layer that also traps heat.
Yes, in the winter you'd be colder wearing Heat Gear rather than Cold Gear.
From their website:
Under Armour Performance gear will usually fall into one of the Gearlines below. By dividing our gear into different Gearlines you can select the right gear for conditions where you train.
heatgear® For when it's Hot
Keeps athletes cool, dry, and light. Ideal use: Extremely warm weather. HeatGear® sparked the revolution of performance apparel with the original "second skin" layer, rendering cotton T-shirts obsolete.
coldgear® For when it's Cold
Keeps athletes warm, dry, and light. Ideal use: Temperatures under 55 degrees F. ColdGear® features a double-sided fabric that wicks moisture from the skin and circulates body heat, keeping athletes warm, without weighing them down.
allseasongear® For Between the Extremes
Keeps athletes dry and light. Ideal use: Changing temperatures. AllSeasonGear® fabrics flex with changing weather conditions to deliver core temperature regulation and maximum breathability.
